Sunrise and Sunset over an ancient and spectacular rock in the middle of Australia, this is what I’ve been keen to see in Australia.
Now we are approaching it.

Photo taken from a flight from Alice Springs Airport to Ayers Rock Airport (above)
We arrived at Ayers Rock Airport at 2:35 PM. As soon as we arrived, we moved to a service desk of Rental Cars to get a car-key that we had booked prior to this travel. Booking in advance is highly recommended due to high demand here. There was a long queue and it took about one hour to obtain the key..

Ayers Rock Airport is small..
After reaching Desert Garden Hotel, firstly we went to Supermarket located in Ayers Rock resort to buy necessities such as water bottles, foods for 2nd day morning.
Then headed to Uluru Sunset Viewing area.

Please note that you need to purchase a ticket at the gate of the national park which is located between Ayers Rock resort and Uluru. We bought Visiter Pass (3days) :25AUD/Adult.
ULURU SUNSET VIEWING AREA
The first point to view the sunset at Uluru

It was stunning..

We stayed there after the sunset as there was beautiful combination of Uluru and the moon.

Only the silhouette of Uluru also made a good picture.
