Busan is the second largest city located in the South Korea’s largest Industrial area.
Also there are places for sightseeing. I had a chance to walk around Busan area on 1-Nov and now summarize where I visited. Photos below were taken by iPhone 6.
JAGALCGI MARKET

Jagalchi market, the biggest Korea’s sea food market, can be accessed by walk from either Nampo station or Jagalchi station. There are a lot of Stalls and small restaurants.

In Korea, sometimes I was faced with a situation that entering restaurant was rejected due to being only single person. It is common here to have lunch, dinner with family, friends or co-workers etc. Therefore menus are basically from for two people. Somehow I could found a restaurant who allowed single and took lunch.

360 degrees view is available at the top of the Busan Tower.
HAEUNDAE BEACH (海雲台)
Haeundae beach is 40 minutes away from Busan’s main railroad station (No.2 subway line, get off at Haeundae Statoin).

As it looked off season, the number of people was fewer than expected. From here I took a taxi to get to Haedong Yonggung Temple.
HAEDONG YONGGUNG TEMPLE (海東龍宮寺)
This temple is located 20 minutes away by taxi from Haeundae Station.

Ocean can be seen from this temple, which is rare situation since in general temples are near or on mountains.
In Korea, language related issues may arise at restaurant, when taking taxi or wherever any communication is required because Korean characters (Hangul) and pronunciation are entirely different from those of English nor Japanese. You would need to manage them by means of Interpreter application in your smartphone. However it should be no worries, everything will be ok as long as we try to communicate. Let’s feel local cultures.
