As of March 2022, COVID-19 pandemic still lingers on, rather the omicron variant further confuses the world.
I had a business trip with quarantine at Singapore and at Japan this time. I would write down what I saw and what I thought.
Departure

I departed from Haneda Airport. Totally different view was observed compared to a couple of years ago.
Few people walked. There was no queue at all.

It was very quiet.

Once passed the immigration gate, same situation continues.

Then I departed.

Quarantine
Arriving at the Changi Airport in Singapore, I had to directly get to the hotel for quarantine. Then seven days quarantine started.

Thankfully we can communicate with family and colleagues via phone, SNS and e-mail. And we can even work via VPN.
However it felt long.
I brought a set of coffee goods. It helped me be stable mind.

After confirming Negative by Swab test at 6th days, the quarantine finished.
City
I did not have time to walk around the city in Singapore because I worked everyday and had to avoid being infected by COVID-19. Hence I cooked and ate most of foods inside the hotel room.
I took a walk only when buying foods at shops. There are a few photos.

It looked everyone lives as usual except for wearing masks. However there was a system named Trace Together. People need to install the Trace Together App onto smartphones and touch at the entrance of each store.

It seemed that the app checked vaccination status, where you are, etc.
Departure

Situation was same in Singapore. There were few people in Changi Airport..
Hope busy days come back.
See you, Singapore.
Luckily I could view a beautiful sunset over cloud.

Again quarantine
Arriving at Haneda Airport, passengers were immediately instructed to show health declaration, documents, take Antigen Test, install an App to be used during quarantine etc.
It took 3 hours to get to a room Japanese government booked.

Three days later I finished quarantine period and see my family.
This experience is important for me to understand the business situation worldwide. It is very difficult for worldwide business but it is real.
I took 3 PCR test (swab), 2 ART test (swab) and 2 Antigen test (saliva). All negative but there is a infection risk everywhere. We will still need to follow a lot of rules for preventing spread of the pandemic.
Hope things will be getting better..
