Following the previous post about our travel route in Tasmania, this post lists accommodations we used and provide my thoughts.
- Wrest Point (Hobart)
- Auldington Hotel (Launceston)
- Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village
- Cradle Mountain Lodge
1. WREST POINT (HOBART)

Address :
410 Sandy Bay Rd, Sandy Bay TAS 7005
Reasons why we chose it :
- Parking is available as we used a rental car
- proximity to the city centre by car
- a couple of restaurants available inside the hotel
What to be noted:
Without booking, you may need to wait to be seated in popular restaurants in the hotel.
Good points I thought:
- Wi-Fi connection was fantastic
- cleanliness
2. AULDINGTON HOTEL (LAUNCESTON)

Address :
110 Frederick St, Launceston TAS 7250
Reasons why we chose it :
- Parking is available
- proximity to the city centre by walk and to Cataract Gorge by car (approx. 10min.)
- relatively cheaper
- Atmosphere looked good
3. CRADLE MOUNTAIN WILDERNESS VILLAGE

Address :
Cradle Mountain Rd, Cradle Mountain TAS 7306
Reasons why we chose it :
- proximity to the Cradle Mountain
- relatively cheaper (but still expensive…)
- kitchen with microwave available. We bought food before getting into Cradle Mt and cooked in the accommodation.

Good points I thought:
- large rooms including bed rooms
- cleanliness

4. CRADLE MOUNTAIN LODGE

Address:
4038 Cradle Mountain Rd, Cradle Mountain TAS 7306
Reasons why we chose it :
- proximity to the Cradle Mountain
- good reputation
- possibility to meet wildlife
Good points I thought:

The accommodation was equipped with a fireplace which made good mood in the evening.

Wildlife could be seen inside premises of the Cradle Mountain Lodge.

Beautiful walk ways available inside its premises.
Experiences inside the Cradle Mt Lodge were fantastic. Everything was excellent. The price was high but to me it was worth paying.
